My kids enjoyed the lighter programs, and the Portuguese audio gave us a small taste of Brazilian TV at home. The ad breaks were a little long, though.

The local updates are useful

Finding TV Arapuan was straightforward, and I like that the stream is free without a signup. The mobile page lagged briefly once, but it recovered quickly.

The evening football recap was a useful way to catch up on the weekend matches, with enough local perspective to make it more interesting than a standard national roundup.

The weekend movie reruns are a nice surprise, especially when a classic Brazilian film appears. I enjoy having something relaxed to watch between the news and series.

Watching from Portugal, I caught the Sunday sports coverage and stayed for a local culture segment about traditional music in Paraiba. The stream was reliable on a slow evening, though the picture looked softer than cable during the match.

Local coverage feels refreshingly direct

The local business reports are often more revealing than the national headlines, especially when they show how rising prices affect ordinary families. I would like a little more follow-up after the first interview, though.

I tuned in for the morning bulletin for local traffic and weather updates. The street interviews were useful, though a few segments felt longer than necessary.

Late-night viewing works well here when I want local Brazilian news after the day winds down. The stream has dropped once or twice after midnight, but it usually reconnects quickly.
