SIC TV is a Brazilian television station based in Porto Velho, operating as an affiliate of the Record TV network for the state of Rondônia . The primary language of broadcasting is Portuguese. The station was founded on April 15, 1991, under the name TV Candelária, and was one of the first affiliates of the newly reorganized Rede Record . It is owned by Everton Leoni through the Sistema Imagem de Comunicação, which also operates Record News Rondônia and several radio stations . On May 29, 2015, the station rebranded from TV Candelária to SIC TV . Its slogan is "A TV que é a cara de Rondônia" (The TV that is the face of Rondônia) .

The station began broadcasting in 1991, serving the city of Pimenta Bueno, before moving its headquarters to the state capital, Porto Velho . Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, the station expanded its coverage, installing retransmitters in Ji-Paraná (1995), Jaru (2002), and later in Ariquemes and Vilhena (2010) .
