DTV Oss & Bernheze online television
DTV Oss & Bernheze is the local public television channel for two neighbouring municipalities in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands: the municipality of Oss and the municipality of Bernheze. It is one of three regional channels of DTV Nieuws, a cooperation of local public broadcasters that shares a single radio station and one joint newsroom: the same team writes the website news, produces the television programmes and presents the radio bulletins at short intervals through the day.
The territory has been redrawn several times, which matters for a local broadcaster. The municipality of Oss absorbed Berghem, Megen, Haren and Macharen, later took in Ravenstein, merged with Lith and gained Geffen when a neighbouring municipality was dissolved. Bernheze came into being from Heesch, Nistelrode and Heeswijk-Dinther, was first named after its largest village and renamed a year later; its name goes back to a farm called Bernhese, donated to an abbey in the Middle Ages and meaning water and forest.
The channel is distributed on cable and by internet television providers, and the shared radio reaches listeners on several frequencies and on cable in these two municipalities, so regional news is never far away. Online viewing on this page is free and needs no registration. Watch Live DTV Oss & Bernheze for news from Brabant, use this page to Watch TV Online Free from any browser, or stream online in Dutch from the Netherlands or from abroad; the Netherlands Live Stream keeps both municipalities on screen.
