DTV online television

DTV is the local television station of Debrecen in Hungary, broadcasting as Debrecen Televizio and described by its own staff as the largest local station outside the capital since it began operating in the mid-1980s. Over the decades it took a leading part in the national association of local television stations, sent crews to national sports and cultural events in its own outside broadcast van, and built a film workshop whose documentary and feature productions earned professional and audience success.

The municipal television company was formally restructured and continues as Mediacentrum Debrecen, with the radio, internet, film and newspaper workshops under one roof. Its portfolio covers this channel, a commercial radio on FM95, the regional news portal and an information paper, presented as the defining media of Hajdu-Bihar county. The daily schedule carries the evening news edition DTV Hirado plus named magazine blocks, among them HirPont, Esti Kozelkep, Civis Ertektar, Grillakademia and Mestervizsga, and the archive also holds a Sunday broadcast of a Reformed church service.

The channel does not broadcast round the clock, and the player page advises refreshing the page when the signal pauses. Online viewing on this page is free and needs no registration.
