DTV online television
DTV, known in full as D Television, is a Honduran open television channel launched in 2008 and founded by the businessman Jaime Rosenthal. It belongs to the R-Media group and is operated by Sociedad Televisora Nacional, the company behind the sister channel on frequency eleven. Before taking its current name the station broadcast as Canal 12 and under the promise Tu Nueva Opción, and its on-air slogan today is Entretenimiento desafiante, defiant entertainment, a hint at its willingness to try what rival schedules avoid.
The grid is generalist by design, built for broad family viewing rather than narrow niches: telenovelas in the daily strips, series blocks and a Sunday film slot, with news shared with the sister channel under one common brand produced in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa, where the group keeps its offices. The channel leans on familiar Latin American storytelling and free-to-air accessibility rather than subscription walls, and its signal covers the whole of Honduras over the air.
Watching asks for nothing but a screen: Watch Live in a browser on a computer, a tablet or a connected television, free to air at home and free online anywhere else. Watch TV Online Free, stream online at any hour, use this TV Online service for general Honduran television, follow the DTV Live Stream and keep the Honduras Live Stream on the channel that calls its own entertainment defiant.
