UNITV, originally known as Unisul TV, is a Brazilian educational television channel based in Tubarão, Santa Catarina. The primary language of broadcasting is Portuguese. The channel was created in September 2006 and is owned by the University of Southern Santa Catarina (Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina - UNISUL), operating as a non-profit community broadcaster. In 2021, after 15 years on air, the channel rebranded from Unisul TV to its current name, UNITV.
The channel is an affiliate of TV Cultura, the renowned Brazilian public broadcaster based in São Paulo. Through this partnership, UNITV brings a schedule of award-winning and high-quality programming to its region. The station broadcasts on digital channel 4.1 and operates from its headquarters on Avenida José Acácio Moreira in Tubarão.
On air, UNITV produces a variety of local content centered on the community, including journalism, news, sports, health, leisure, entertainment, and religious programming.
