The station operates on digital UHF channel 40 (virtual channel 5.1) and is an owned-and-operated station of the Rede Internacional de Televisão (RIT) network .
On air, TV Sul Bahia's programming priority is the national schedule of the RIT network, which is the primary broadcaster of the Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus (International Church of the Grace of God). Beyond its core religious content, the station's schedule also features religious musical programs, generalist entertainment, and informational content .
