SBT Cuiabá is a Brazilian television station based in Cuiabá, the capital of the state of Mato Grosso. The primary language of broadcasting is Portuguese. The station operates on digital channel 5.1 (45 UHF) and is an affiliate of the SBT (Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão) network. Unlike some other SBT affiliates, the station does not belong to Grupo Silvio Santos but is owned by Grupo Roberto Dorner de Comunicação, under the ownership of businessman and politician Roberto Dorner . The station was originally founded on November 19, 1992, as TV Rondon, initially an affiliate of Rede Manchete .

The station has undergone several affiliation changes throughout its history. It began as an affiliate of Rede Manchete, and when that network collapsed in 1999, TV Rondon followed the transition to the short-lived TV! network and then to RedeTV!, becoming one of its earliest affiliates . Between June and July 2009, the station announced it would leave RedeTV! for SBT, and at midnight on August 1, 2009, the station began transmitting SBT's signal. This move filled a gap in Mato Grosso, which had been without an SBT affiliate for three months following the disaffiliation of TV Cidade Verde . On February 4, 2016, the station changed its name from TV Rondon to SBT Cuiabá, aligning its branding with the network it represents .

On air, SBT Cuiabá rebroadcasts the majority of the national SBT network programming, which includes nationally known entertainment shows, journalism, Mexican telenovelas, and children's programming . In addition to the national feed, the station produces local programming for the Cuiabá and Mato Grosso audience. Known local programs and segments include the journalistic program SBT Comunidade, which has been hosted by presenter Leandro Trindade.
