TVRI Jambi online television

TVRI Jambi (LPP TVRI Stasiun Jambi) is the regional public broadcasting station of TVRI (Televisi Republik Indonesia) serving Jambi Province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The station was established on April 15, 1995, and is headquartered on Jalan Jambi Muara in Jambi City. As a dedicated source for online television, the station is led by Head of Station Herly Marjoni and operates as a public broadcasting institution (LPP) under the management of TVRI Nasional. The station broadcasts in Indonesian and Jambi Malay languages under the slogan "Punyo Kito" (Milik Kita - Ours).

The programming schedule allows viewers to watch live channel coverage of a mix of local content and relays of TVRI Nasional. Approximately 20% of the broadcast schedule is dedicated to local programming specifically produced for Jambi Province, with the remaining 80% relaying TVRI Nasional. The flagship local news program is Jambi Hari Ini (Jambi Today), a daily news bulletin covering regional events. Other local programs include Jambi Menyapa (Jambi Greets), Untukmu Jambi (For You Jambi), Dialog Khusus (Special Dialogue), Jambi Sport, Jambi Membangun (Jambi Builds), Beranda Budaya (Culture Porch), Ekspresi Anak Jambi (Jambi Children's Expression), Dokter Keluarga (Family Doctor), KSK (Karaoke Suaro Kanti), Dendang Ceria, Tele Tiwah, Berwarna, Pojok Humor, SKPD Jambi Emas Menjawab, Kooridor, Rona Rana, Stamina, Goda, and Kuis Cerdas Cermat. In October 2024, TVRI Jambi served as the host for Suara Andalas, a collaborative program between all TVRI stations in Sumatra, featuring a dialogue on the phenomenon of empty boxes (Kotak Kosong) in the 2024 regional elections, with participants including Suyatno, S.Pdi (Commissioner of KPU Jambi Province) and Dinda S.P., Sos., M.Si (Political Observer from Jambi City).

TVRI Jambi has established partnerships with various educational institutions to support public information dissemination. In August 2024, the station signed a cooperation agreement with Universitas Jambi for broadcast program collaboration, aimed at socializing and publicizing innovative works by students and faculty, with the ceremony attended by Rektor Prof. Helmi. The station also serves as a key broadcaster for regional political events; in October 2024, TVRI Jambi dispatched an 18-member production team to produce and broadcast the first public debate for Bupati and Wakil Bupati candidates in Tebo Regency, followed by similar coverage in Bungo Regency. The station maintains a partnership with PSSI Jambi to broadcast the annual Gubernur Cup football tournament live, from the preliminary rounds through the final match. This sports coverage includes consultation on technical aspects such as kick-off schedules, camera placement, and broadcast regulations, with the goal of supporting regional sports development and providing access for all Jambi residents, including those in remote villages. The station has also improved its archival facilities, inaugurating a new Record Center on October 4, 2024, to enhance the efficiency of inactive archive storage and service delivery.
