Televisora de Oriente (TVO) is a Venezuelan private regional television network operating in the generalist format. The primary language of broadcasting is Spanish. The channel was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui State, Venezuela . The station is part of the Corporación Catatumbo, an entity linked to the state oil company PDVSA, and is operated by Grupo Trust Mediático through Vepaco TV in Caracas . Starting in October 2015, TVO joined a network with Catatumbo Televisión to share programming across the region .
On air, TVO features a mix of locally produced programs as well as content shared from its sister channel, Vepaco TV . The channel’s programming is generalist, including news, current affairs, entertainment, and cultural content focused on eastern Venezuela. In March 2020, Vepaco TV and TVO lost their open signal following the deactivation of the Simón Bolívar satellite .
TVO is available as a free-to-air broadcaster in the Venezuelan states of Anzoátegui (on channels 5 and 13), Monagas (channel 32), Nueva Esparta (channel 8), and Sucre (channel 8). Viewers in parts of Miranda and Guárico states can also pick up its signal . The station’s broadcast format is standard definition 480i with a 4:3 aspect ratio .

The mission of the channel is to serve local communities with relevant programming and to maintain a connection with viewers across Anzoátegui, Monagas, Sucre, and Nueva Esparta.
