The channel launched on August 31, 2015, replacing the former channel La Tele and initially operating under the name TVepaco before rebranding to Vepaco TV on November 1, 2016 . The channel is owned by Grupo Trust Mediático, a Venezuelan corporation that also operates other media businesses including an outdoor advertising company (also called Vepaco), radio stations, and the streaming platform VEPACO.Net . Vepaco TV is headquartered at the Edificio Grupo Trust Mediático on Calle Los Cedros in La Florida, Caracas, Venezuela .

On air, Vepaco TV features a mix of programming, including rebroadcasts of government-affiliated shows such as En contacto con Maduro, Con Cilia en familia, and Con el mazo dando, alongside music videos, independent national productions, and documentaries .
