DRTV online television

DRTV is the streaming and catch-up television service of DR, the Danish public-service broadcaster, and it is made for viewers in Denmark. The service was formerly called DR Nu and took its present name in the mid-2010s; it runs on phones, tablets, computers and television sets, and it is also carried as a hybrid broadcast service on all of the broadcaster's digital channels.

Behind it stands one of the oldest public broadcasters in Europe. DR carried the names Radioordningen, Statsradiofonien and Danmarks Radio before settling on DR in the mid-1990s, is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union and today operates three free-to-air television channels and seven radio stations. Regular television began in the early 1950s, the monopoly on national television lasted until the late 1980s, and funding moved from a media licence to an addition to income tax in the early 2020s; the current director-general is Bjarne Corydon.

The front page sorts everything into news, documentaries, series, films and sport, plus lifestyle, history, nature, culture, crime, entertainment and satire, with a live section, a television guide and separate corners for children and for the youth brand. Online viewing is free and needs no registration, and this TV Online page carries the signal at any hour. Watch Live DRTV on a quiet evening, use this page to Watch TV Online Free from any browser, or stream online in Danish from Copenhagen or from abroad; the Denmark Live Stream keeps the public service on screen.
