Distrito TV online television

Distrito TV is a Spanish free-to-air television channel of the Madrid region, owned by the communication group El Distrito and broadcast on terrestrial TDT multiplexes of the capital and its surrounding municipalities. The channel brands itself as "la television de la resistencia" and builds its grid around politics, economics, sport, culture, children's output and social affairs, mixing in-house productions with films, series and documentaries. Its signal runs around the clock, so viewers can Watch Live from anywhere and keep a steady Spain Live Stream of Spanish television.

The channel launched with a strong commitment to its own productions, headlined by El Mundo al Rojo and Con España a Vueltas, with Economix and América Directo; the schedule later grew with interview programmes, the history strand España de Leyenda, the true-crime series La Huella del Crimen and a weekly movie slot. The catalogue also carries series, cartoons, documentaries, English-learning programmes and cooking shows for a family audience. Political analysis and commentary are the signature of the house, led by its president Jesús Ángel Rojo and regular presenters, while the news desk follows the politics of Madrid and of Spain day by day.

The terrestrial signal reaches Madrid and municipalities such as Pozuelo de Alarcón, Las Rozas, Móstoles and Alcorcón on local UHF multiplexes, and the same feed is published as an internet stream, so audiences can stream online on a phone, tablet, laptop or TV. The official site publishes the live stream, the programme guide and the news desk, while full programmes, interviews and daily analysis run on the official video channel, one of the largest Spanish current-affairs channels of its kind, with hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
