Canal 33 Madrid is a Spanish local television channel operating in the proximity programming and citizen participation format. The primary language of broadcasting is Spanish. The channel is part of the Association of Local Televisions of the Community of Madrid and began broadcasting in Madrid, Spain in 1994 . The channel is a continuation of an earlier television project called Canal 47, which started in September 1994 and broadcast mainly for the districts of Centro, Carabanchel, Villaverde, and Latina . Canal 33 took its name from its original broadcast frequency (UHF channel 33) in Madrid and has no relationship with the second channel of Televisió de Catalunya . The current director and president of Canal 33 Madrid is Enrique Riobóo De la Vega, a journalist born in Ferrol who has spent his entire professional life in Madrid and is a member of the Television Academy .

On air, Canal 33 Madrid features a mix of news bulletins, political talk shows, cultural magazines, entertainment programs, sports coverage, and citizen participation formats. The flagship program is Aquí Opinamos Todos (Here We All Give Our Opinion), the channel's longest-running program, directed and presented by Enrique Riobóo, which has been on air for over two decades and is described as the only program that gives live voice to Madrid residents without restrictions . Another key program is Cambia Madrid (Change Madrid), a weekly citizen debate and interview space directed by Julio de la Fuente, featuring in-depth interviews with relevant political, economic, and social personalities from Madrid and the region, including mayors of municipalities . The program also includes a monthly debate with regional deputies and city councilors.

Toni Rovira y Tú is the channel's long-running late-night show, described as the most popular and long-lived late-night show on Spanish television, airing Monday through Thursday and Saturdays at 11:30 PM. The showman and presenter Toni Rovira describes it as a cabaret, a circus, a theater, and a special world where those human beings who are different can survive, offering close, old-fashioned television . El Ático is a cultural magazine program that returned to the schedule in 2024, directed and presented by journalist David Enguita, featuring relevant guests from the worlds of writing, art, cinema, music, journalism, and business .
