Bolivia TV, on air as BTV and now branded Bolivia Televisión, is the public television service of Bolivia, run by the state company Empresa Estatal de Televisión - Bolivia TV from studios on the sixth floor of the La Urbana building at Avenida Camacho 1485 in La Paz. Its legal origin is Supreme Decree 7454 of 22 December 1965, and Canal 7 opened transmission at 7:46 in the evening on 30 August 1969 under president Luis Adolfo Siles Salinas, completing a plan begun by René Barrientos. Juan Fernando "Tito" Landa was the first presenter seen by viewers.

Supreme Decree 0074 of 15 April 2009 put the old Empresa Nacional de Televisión Boliviana into liquidation, with debts of 56 million bolivianos owed chiefly to ENTEL and the national treasury, and Decree 0078 of the same day created the present state company, which rehired some 200 of its staff. Its board is made up of six ministers, its general manager is appointed by the Presidency, and the budget for 2026 stands at 90 million bolivianos. The network reaches the country through 72 transmitters and 276 repeaters and eleven regional offices, from Cobija and Riberalta in the north to Yacuiba and Tarija in the south.
