BNR Nieuwsradio online television
BNR Nieuwsradio is the Dutch commercial news station built around news and business, with bulletins at every half and full hour, its own traffic service for jams and speed checks, and no music other than the occasional background bed. It went on air on 21 September 1998 as Business Nieuws 1395 AM, dropped the medium wave suffix in June 1999 when it took over the FM package of JFK FM, and became BNR Nieuwsradio in February 2004, when the formula changed to news day and night. Since March 2003 the station has belonged to the FD Mediagroep, the Amsterdam media house behind Het Financieele Dagblad, and its current slogan is Blijf scherp.
The signal reaches some sixty percent of the country from the FM parcel reserved for news, current affairs and information, which the station has used since 1 June 2003, and it is carried nationally on FM, on DVB-T bouquet three, on DAB+ channel 11C, on cable and across Europe by satellite on Astra 23.5 East. Transmitters run from Amsterdam at 101.8 and Rotterdam at 100.1 to Nijmegen at 88.6 and IJsselstein at 100.1. The newsroom has been led since November 2022 by editor in chief Marc Adriani, who followed Mireille van Ark, while the programming was rebuilt on 24 September 2007, when the old block schedule was dropped.
Watch Live through the working day, because the BNR Nieuwsradio Live Stream carries the studio feed from bnr.nl and from the YouTube channel of the station, where election nights and the big debates also run. Nothing has to be paid for. Use this TV Online service on a phone, a laptop or the radio in the car, Watch TV Online Free through the morning bulletins and the afternoon interviews, stream online when the traffic service breaks in, and keep the Netherlands Live Stream running for the numbers from Amsterdam.
