I like checking the west-side view around sunset, when the light brings out the crater and surrounding landscape. It loaded reliably for me while traveling in Italy, though the image can feel a little still compared with a proper documentary about Vesuvius.

I found the free streams easy to browse, and the EPG is handy for checking what's on. It worked fine on my phone without making me sign up.

Pretty easy to browse and find channels, and I like that there is no signup. The EPG took a little while to load on mobile, but the free stream was fine.
