Finding CBS 9 was easy, and the free stream played without asking me to sign up. The EPG took a moment to load, but it was useful once it appeared.

I leave this on while making breakfast. The local updates are brief, practical, and a lot more relevant to my morning than national headlines.

Local news comes through clearly

Watching the Sunday night football coverage from a hotel in Denver, I appreciated having the local Oklahoma updates during halftime. The stream was mostly reliable, though it took a moment to recover when the hotel Wi-Fi slowed down, which still beats relying on a cable package while traveling.

I usually catch the 10 p.m. newscast after work, and the Oklahoma City weather update is more useful than the generic forecast on cable. The stream can pause briefly on a slow evening, but it normally recovers without needing a reload.
