CBS 9 KWTV-DT live stream

CBS 9 Oklahoma City OK online television

CBS 9 KWTV-DT is the CBS station for Oklahoma City, owned by Griffin Media and known on air as News 9. Virtual channel 9 carries the network across central Oklahoma. The newsroom covers the city, state government, and severe weather on the plains. A United States Live Stream lets viewers Watch Live that local desk and the CBS schedule as TV Online.

Local news is branded News 9. Amanda Taylor and Karl Torp anchor the evening desk. Robin Marsh and Lacie Lowry anchor News 9 This Morning, and Lowry also hosts the restaurant feature Flavor of Oklahoma. Storme Jones anchors the midday report. Chief meteorologist David Payne leads the evening forecasts, and Toby Rowland is sports director. CBS prime time includes Tracker, Marshals, 60 Minutes, NCIS, Survivor, The Amazing Race, FBI, and Elsbeth. Viewers who Watch TV Online Free can follow that mix and stream online away from a set at home.

KWTV went on the air with a transmitter tower that was, at the time, the tallest in the world, and the station has kept the News 9 name as its local identity under Griffin. Tornado coverage is a standing part of the day, not a side feature, and it sits next to politics, crime, and everyday Oklahoma City reporting. Griffin also owns the Tulsa station, but channel 9 remains the Oklahoma City CBS desk. Reporters still open the evening hour on those local stories before the network dramas take the later slots.
