CBS 4 El Paso TX

黄金时段包括 Tracker、Marshals、60 Minutes、NCIS、Survivor、The Amazing Race、FBI 和 Elsbeth。

The evening newscast gives local business stories more room than most stations do, which I appreciate. The election reports are clear too, although the debate clips sometimes feel edited too tightly.

Weekend movie reruns are my favorite kind of background TV, especially when they include a classic film I have not seen in years.

The morning headlines are concise, but the business segment often feels rushed just when the numbers get interesting. I would rather hear one clear explanation of local economic news than three quick national clips.

The midday newscast does a decent job of separating local developments from national headlines, though the business segment feels rushed. By the time a company name appears, the anchor is already moving on.

I caught the Saturday night college football game here while traveling, and the picture stayed sharp even when the hotel Wi-Fi slowed down. The local breaks were useful, though the audio levels jumped a bit between the game and commercials compared with cable.
