BBC Alba live stream

BBC Alba online television

BBC Alba is the television home of Scottish Gaelic: a public-service channel run jointly by the BBC and MG Alba, on air since 2008, broadcasting in the language of the Highlands and Islands. It is the place where Gaelic is not a museum piece but a working television language — news, sport, drama and children's programming all delivered as Gàidhlig, for a community that stretches from the Western Isles to Glasgow and far beyond Scotland's shores.

The schedule carries Gaelic news, current affairs and live sport: the nightly news programme An Là, the European affairs magazine Eòrpa, and live coverage of Scottish football, rugby, shinty and curling — sports in which the channel's commentary has become legendary among fans who don't speak a word of the language. Children's blocks open the day, traditional music and documentary strands fill the evenings, and the Celtic Connections festival finds its television home here every January without fail, year after year, season after season.

For Gaelic speakers, learners and anyone curious about Scotland's other national voice, this channel is essential viewing. Anyone can Watch Live over the internet and stream online from any device, free and without registration, so it is easy to Watch TV Online Free wherever you are. Open the United Kingdom Live Stream and the Gaelic day is already on this TV Online service.
