Balkan Radio Salzburg live stream

Balkan Radio Salzburg online television

Balkan Radio Salzburg grew out of the Balkan diaspora in and around Salzburg, Austria, where workers and families from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia and beyond have built their lives over decades. What began as a radio voice for that community carries a video feed as well, pairing the music with pictures: folk and pop-folk, turbo-folk and sevdah, new videos and old favorites that everyone at the table knows by heart. The station's story is the city's migration story told through song.

The programming is music first, community always: long blocks of Balkan hits, dedications and shout-outs between Salzburg and the old country, birthday and wedding greetings, and news of the diaspora calendar — club nights, festival weekends, church and community events. Requests arrive by message all week long and find their way on air by the weekend. It is the sound of the homeland kept on in kitchens, taxis and workshops across the city, a station that speaks the languages its listeners dream in.

For anyone who carries the Balkans in their pocket, the feed is a direct line home.
