TVRI Nusa Tenggara Barat online television
TVRI Nusa Tenggara Barat (TVRI NTB) is the regional public broadcasting station of TVRI (Televisi Republik Indonesia) serving West Nusa Tenggara Province (Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat), which includes the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa, Indonesia. The station originated with the establishment of a transmission sector station in Mataram on March 1, 1977, which initially relayed broadcasts from TVRI Jakarta. TVRI NTB was officially inaugurated as a production and broadcasting station on August 29, 2007, marking a transition from merely relaying national broadcasts to producing and airing local content with cultural, natural, and development themes from West Nusa Tenggara. Its headquarters are located on Jalan Majapahit No. 15, Mataram, the provincial capital. The station is led by Kepala Stasiun Okta Helena Kati Jara, S.Sos, MM, who assumed the position before November 2025. As a dedicated source for online television, TVRI NTB broadcasts in Indonesian and local languages, including Sasak, Samawa, and Mbojo, reflecting the linguistic diversity of West Nusa Tenggara. The station is supported by 9 transmission units spread across two islands-6 on Lombok and 3 on Sumbawa-providing one of the widest coverage areas in the province.
The programming schedule allows viewers to watch live channel coverage of approximately 4 hours of daily local content, broadcast in the morning from 09:00 to 11:00 WITA and in the afternoon/evening from 17:00 to 19:00 WITA. The broadcast composition consists of 37.8 percent information, 36.2 percent education, 19.8 percent entertainment, and 6.3 percent other programming. Flagship programs include Cinta Quran (Love the Quran), Fokus Islami (Islamic Focus), Inspirasi (Inspiration), Rudat Bonyek, Senandung Sasambo (Sasambo Melody), Warta NTB (NTB News), Pentas Musik (Music Stage), and Berugak. The news division produces Warta NTB, a daily news bulletin covering regional events across Lombok and Sumbawa. The talk show NTB Bicara (NTB Talks) addresses regional issues and features government officials, community leaders, and experts as guests; episodes have covered themes such as “Kepastian Hukum di NTB” (Legal Certainty in NTB) featuring sources from the Kejaksaan Tinggi NTB (High Prosecutors Office) and “Wakaf Terlindungi, Masyarakat Terlayani” (Protected Waqf, Served Community) regarding land asset certification, hosted by presenter Khania. The station also produces special programming for specific events, including live coverage of regional head election debates and collaborations with LKBN ANTARA and RRI on the program Gubernur NTB Menyapa (NTB Governor Greets).
In 2024, TVRI NTB celebrated its 17th anniversary as a production station, an event marked by a Gala Dinner in Senggigi, Lombok Barat, which included awards for presenter and short video competitions and recognition for strategic partners. The station continues to expand its reach; in late 2025, the station management under Okta Helena Kati Jara held auditions with local governments across the province, including with the Wali Kota Bima and Bupati Dompu, to strengthen collaboration for promoting regional potential and development programs. The station also inaugurated a new transmission station in Mantara, Sumbawa Barat, and utilizes the Merah Putih satellite (Telkom 4) for broadcasts that can be received across Southeast Asia. TVRI NTB holds a permanent broadcasting license from the Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital Republik Indonesia and operates as a partner to the West Nusa Tenggara provincial government for the dissemination of public information regarding development programs, economic empowerment, stunting prevention, and local cultural preservation.
For audiences seeking a reliable live stream, TVRI NTB is widely available as a free-to-air service via digital terrestrial television (DVB-T2) across West Nusa Tenggara Province. The main transmitter operates on VHF channel 4, with relay transmitters including Seganteng on VHF channel 7 covering East Lombok and South Lombok, as well as units in Sumbawa.
