ATV is owned by the Albavisión media group, a Latin American conglomerate controlled by Mexican businessman Remigio Ángel González. The channel is headquartered in the San Borja district of Lima, Peru. ATV is one of the major national networks in Peru, available nationwide as ATV (Canal 9 in Lima). Its slogan is "El canal de la gente" (The people's channel).
