Latina Televisión (formerly known as Frecuencia Latina) is a Peruvian free-to-air television network operating in the generalist format. The primary language of broadcasting is Spanish. The channel was founded in 1983 as a small station in Lima and became a national network in 1993. Latina is owned by the ENLACE Group (Grupo ENLACE), controlled by the Peruvian businessman Manuel Francisco Espinar. The channel is headquartered in the San Isidro district of Lima, Peru. Latina is one of the major national networks in Peru, available nationwide as Latina (Canal 2 in Lima). Its slogan is "Prende la tele, prende la Latina!" (Turn on the TV, turn on Latina!).

On air, Latina's programming includes a strong lineup of news, entertainment shows, reality television, and imported series. The flagship news program is Latina Noticias, which produces multiple daily editions covering politics, crime, and human-interest stories. The network is also known for its long-running morning magazine show Buenos Días, Perú, a popular format that began in the 1990s. Other key programs include the political satire show La Voz del Pueblo (The Voice of the People), competition reality shows (such as El Gran Chef Famosos), and international series (dubbed versions of Fox and Warner Bros. content). Latina has also produced original telenovelas and miniseries, such as the successful Al fondo hay sitio (2009–2016, 2022–present), a situation comedy that became a cultural phenomenon in Peru.

Latina is available throughout Peru via digital terrestrial television (channel 2.1 in Lima) and on all major cable and satellite providers. The network has a strong digital presence, offering a free mobile app for Android and iOS, and live streaming on its official website, latina.pe. The channel also broadcasts an international signal, Latina Internacional, which is carried on cable systems in the United States, Europe, and other regions with a significant Peruvian diaspora, ensuring that Peruvians abroad can stay connected to news and entertainment from their home country.

Latina strives to be a leading broadcaster in Peru, offering a mix of quality news, entertainment, and cultural programming for the Peruvian family. The mission of the channel is to provide content that informs, educates, and entertains, while also serving as a platform for Peruvian talent and national identity. Thanks to modern digital platforms, Latina provides the opportunity to watch online the live broadcast on any device — from smartphones to computers — ensuring that its programming reaches Peruvians across the country and the global diaspora wherever they are.

The evening headlines are strongest when they explain how new policies affect ordinary households. Too often, though, the debate segments give politicians plenty of airtime without pressing them for clear answers.

Caught the midday sports bulletin today and liked the quick match recaps from Peru. The interviews were useful, although the ad breaks felt a little long.

The election coverage is strongest when the anchors challenge vague answers instead of simply moving on. I only wish the business reports spent less time on market numbers and more on how those changes affect ordinary households.

I put on the afternoon news for the Lima traffic updates and ended up watching the full interview segment. The reports were useful, though the commercial breaks felt a bit long.

Watching Latina from Spain has been a nice way to keep up with Peruvian culture, especially during the Sunday sports block and the occasional documentary. The stream holds up well on a slow evening, although it takes longer than cable to recover after a brief connection drop.

On my Fire Stick, the picture is sharp and the sound stays in sync, with barely any buffering even during longer programs.

The audio is clear today

I keep checking in for the novelas, though the schedule can be hard to follow.

Weekend movie marathons are my favorite here, especially when they mix familiar classics with lighter modern films. It makes staying in on Saturday feel like a proper movie night.
