TV9 is one of Malaysia's leading free-to-air television channels, broadcasting in Malay and owned by Media Prima, the country's largest media group. Launched on 22 April 2006 from the earlier Channel 9, it is headquartered in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, and has grown into a household name for Malay-speaking families across the country, with a schedule built around local entertainment, drama and comedy.

The channel is famous for its comedy and variety shows. Sepahtu Reunion Live brings the beloved comedians of the Sepahtu troupe on stage in front of a live audience, Maharaja Lawak Mega crowns the country's funniest stand-up talents in a long-running competition, and the entertainment talk show Melodi covers celebrity news and music every week. Around them TV9 airs popular Malay drama series and telemovies in prime time, religious and community programming, and classic reruns that draw nostalgic audiences.

Viewers can follow TV9 through online television platforms and the broadcaster's streaming service Tonton. Watch TV Online on a smart TV, tablet or computer, and keep Malaysia's Malay-language television within reach – at home in Kuala Lumpur or following from Singapore, Brunei or anywhere in the world, every day of the week. Decades after its launch, the channel still tops the ratings among Malay viewers, from schoolchildren to grandparents. For Malay-speaking viewers everywhere, TV9 remains a warm piece of home.
