Aqjaiyq live stream

Aqjaiyq online television

Aqjaiyq is the regional television channel of the West Kazakhstan Region, broadcasting from the city of Uralsk (Oral) as part of the Qazaqstan national broadcaster's regional network. The channel takes its name from Aqjaiyq, the Kazakh name of the Zhaiyk river basin that defines the region, and it speaks to its audience in both Kazakh and Russian. As the local service of the national broadcaster, it combines the resources of a state network with the closeness of a hometown station, covering the steppe provinces where few national cameras ever go.

The schedule is led by regional news, reporting on the life of Uralsk and the districts of West Kazakhstan, from agriculture and industry to schools, hospitals and municipal affairs. Cultural programs keep the region's identity visible: the history of the Zhaiyk steppe, Kazakh music and poetry, and the traditions of the local communities. The channel also carries national programming from the Qazaqstan network, and its concert and holiday broadcasts, from Nauryz celebrations to city days, are fixtures of the local calendar.
