Steiermark TV is an Austrian private regional television channel operating in the regional news, documentary, and lifestyle format. The primary language of broadcasting is German. The channel was launched on September 6, 2023, and is based in Graz, Styria . The channel is owned and operated by GST Fernsehen GmbH, which is 100 percent owned by managing director Holger Bruckschweiger . Steiermark TV is a regional specialty channel (Spartenprogramm) focusing exclusively on content from and about the Austrian state of Styria . The channel broadcasts in 1080i high definition (HDTV) .



On air, the core programming consists of a two‑hour loop that is repeated ten times daily, along with a four‑hour morning block of live panoramic cameras showing views from over 40 locations across Styria . The main magazine program is da bin i daham, hosted by Isabella Jan (and previously by Gudrun Nikodem-Eichenhardt), which covers a broad mix of current affairs, economy, politics, culture, sports, cooking, gardening, legal advice, and health . The program is renewed twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays .



Additional programs include the documentary series Ein Stück Österreich, focusing on people and places within and beyond Styria; the personal talk show Berggespräche, which features conversations with celebrities while hiking; and the film magazine Preview – Das Kinomagazin . In 2025, the channel launched two new formats: Red‘ ma d‘rüber, a weekly talk show hosted by Barbara Attems featuring guests from politics, business, culture, and sports; and Steiermark Report, a weekly investigative reportage series offering in‑depth coverage of current topics .



Steiermark TV is available via cable networks throughout Styria and nationwide on IPTV platforms including A1, Magenta TV, Drei TV, HiWay, and spusu tv, as well as on the streaming service Zattoo . The channel also provides a 24/7 live stream and a comprehensive media library on its official website at steiermark.tv, where individual reports and full episodes can be accessed on demand . Satellite distribution was planned for early 2025 . According to the channel, Steiermark TV is the leading regional television channel in Styria, with daily viewership between 12,000 and 15,000 viewers and over 200,000 viewing hours per month .
