The station was launched on March 1, 2022, marking the first and only 24/7 English-language radio station in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is owned and operated by RTL Luxembourg, part of the RTL Group, one of Europe's largest broadcasting companies. The station is headquartered at 43 boulevard Pierre Frieden on the Kirchberg plateau in Luxembourg City. The head of RTL Today Radio is Sam Steen.
On air, RTL Today Radio features a daily schedule of live shows hosted by a team of local and international presenters. The weekday morning flagship program is The Sam Steen Show, airing Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, hosted by Sam Steen. The late morning slot features The Lunchbox from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, hosted by Stephen 'Steps' Lowe, dedicated to songs from the past 25 years. The afternoon session is hosted by Lucy Genazzini from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by Hours of Power, an hour of non-stop hits until 4:00 PM.
