ALWifak News TV is a Lebanese Arabic-language news channel broadcasting from Tripoli in the north of the country, and it is the television arm of Alwifak News, the website founded in 2008 and licensed by the National Media Council under permit 77 of 24 April 2012. Both belong to the Alwifak Group, a cultural, media, social and sports group headed by the journalist Ramez Abdul Qader Al-Ferri, editor-in-chief of the newsroom. The group also includes the Alwifak newspaper, licensed by the Ministry of Information under permit 154 in 2001, a cultural centre for journalism and publishing of 2002, the Alwifak Cultural Association of 2005, the internet radio Sawt Alwifak of 2010 and a sports club of 2012.

Coverage runs around the clock, and the channel carries both the live broadcast and the recorded activities of the newsroom. The editorial line is speed, accuracy, objectivity and neutrality, and reporting follows the sections of the parent site: Lebanese news, civil society, economy, Arab and international affairs, investigations, municipalities, interviews, culture, sport, health, women and art, Palestine and human rights. Reporters work from bureaus in Akkar, Beirut, Minieh, Dinnieh, Zgharta, Koura, Deir Ammar and the central Beqaa, with correspondents in Cairo, Amman, Damascus and Tehran. The output mixes news bulletins, the interview programme Ru'yat al-Yawm, documentaries, seminars and coverage of book signings, theatre and graduations in Tripoli.
