MS NOW is an American cable news and political commentary television channel that was launched in 1996 under the name MSNBC and rebranded as MS NOW on November 15, 2025. As a dedicated source for online television, MS NOW stands for “My Source for News, Opinion, and the World” and is generally considered to be liberal or left-leaning in its political commentary.

Key programs on the network include Morning Joe hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, The Rachel Maddow Show hosted by Rachel Maddow, All In with Chris Hayes hosted by Chris Hayes, The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell hosted by Lawrence O'Donnell, The Beat with Ari Melber hosted by Ari Melber, The Briefing with Jen Psaki hosted by Jen Psaki, Deadline: White House hosted by Nicolle Wallace, Velshi hosted by Ali Velshi, Way Too Early with Ali Vitali hosted by Ali Vitali, Ana Cabrera Reports hosted by Ana Cabrera, Chris Jansing Reports hosted by Chris Jansing, Katy Tur Reports hosted by Katy Tur, The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle hosted by Stephanie Ruhle, Alex Witt Reports hosted by Alex Witt, PoliticsNation hosted by Al Sharpton, and The Weekend co-hosted by Jonathan Capehart, Symone Sanders-Townsend, and Michael Steele.

After midnight, the live interviews are a decent companion while I wind down, especially when the headlines are changing. The picture held up well, but I noticed two brief signal drops during the late segment.

While visiting Lisbon, I watched the 8 p.m. political roundup and found the interviews more useful than the usual cable shouting match. The stream stayed watchable during a slow hotel Wi-Fi spell, though the picture softened and the documentary promos felt repetitive.

On my laptop, the HD picture is sharp and the audio stays in sync, though the stream buffered briefly when I switched to full screen.

News feed stays easy to follow.

I usually catch the late evening political roundup, and the panel discussion often gives the headlines more context than cable news at home. The stream held up well on a slow hotel Wi-Fi connection in Lisbon, although the picture softened during one live interview.

Caught the morning news before work and appreciated the concise rundown of overnight events. The interviews were more useful than the usual shouting match, though the weather segment felt rushed.

Getting around the site is simple, and I found MS NOW without much searching. The free stream played right away with no signup, though the EPG was slow to load once.

The weekend marathon of classic films was a nice change of pace. I ended up watching an old courtroom drama I remembered from family movie nights and enjoyed it more than expected.

Finding MS NOW was quick, and I liked that the stream starts without a signup. The EPG took a moment to load, but it was handy once it appeared.

Keeping this on while I sort dinner; the live political coverage gives me a useful sense of the day's temperature. The commentators can get a little repetitive, but the pacing is easy to follow.
