LON TV online television

LON TV is the television service of the local broadcaster for Nuenen, Gerwen and Nederwetten, a group of communities in the Dutch province of North Brabant known for their village character and their links to the painter Vincent van Gogh, who lived and worked in Nuenen. Broadcasting in Dutch, the channel keeps its viewers close to everything that happens in the municipality, from council decisions to club life, made by and for the people who live there.

The schedule is built around local news bulletins reporting on the municipality, the neighborhoods and the issues residents talk about at the market and the sports club. Community programs give airtime to local associations, schools, choirs and cultural groups, while regional event coverage brings festivals, fairs, commemorations and public celebrations to the screen. Magazine segments on local history, nature and everyday life in the villages round out the week.
