KempenTV online television

KempenTV is the regional television station of the Kempen, the green corner of North Brabant in the south of the Netherlands, where the towns of Veldhoven, Eersel, Bladel and Valkenswaard sit among forests, heathland and small rivers. Run by Omroep de Kempen, the station gives the villages and small towns of the region a screen of their own — a place where local life, in the local dialect and accent, is the main story of the day.

The schedule is woven from local news bulletins on municipal affairs and regional developments, community events coverage from fairs, carnivals and village festivals, and talk shows in which residents and local leaders discuss what matters to the Kempen. Cultural features on the region's nature, history and folk traditions run alongside sports reports from local clubs, much of it made with the help of volunteers from the towns themselves.

For Kempenaren at home and for those who have moved to the Randstad or abroad, the station keeps the region close.
