Jambi TV online television

Jambi TV is the regional television channel of Jambi province, broadcasting for central Sumatra with its lens on the communities it serves. The channel follows the daily life of the province — the city of Jambi and the regencies, the markets and the mosques, the plantations and the river — with the closeness that only a local station can offer. It is television made in Jambi, for Jambi — and the newsroom knows the province street by street.

The schedule is built around regional news covering provincial government, the local economy and community events, supported by talk programs and interviews with local figures. Cultural features carry the heritage of Jambi — its Malay traditions, its batik, its river culture — while religious programming and reports from the regencies keep the whole province on screen. The regencies talk, and the channel listens.

For the people of Jambi at home and the many who work away, the channel is a window back to the province, open all day, every day of the week.
