Afghan Nobel Movies online television
Afghan Nobel Movies is a Canada-based movie channel for Afghan audiences, part of the Afghan Nobel broadcaster, which also operates the general channel Afghan Nobel TV. It is carried in listings under the Canadian feed and is programmed around feature films and long-form entertainment in Dari and Pashto, the two main languages of Afghan broadcasting. The broadcaster has been publishing material of its own since February 2013 and works out of Toronto, where much of its recorded output is produced for Afghan households in Canada and abroad.
Alongside the films, the Afghan Nobel output covers Afghan music and culture: live performance recordings, new songs in Dari and Pashto, and material built around singers working in the Afghan tradition, among them Farhad Shams, Rameen Sharif, Kianosh Rahimi and Masi Nazir. The mix reflects the audience the channel serves, which spans viewers inside Afghanistan and Afghan households settled in other countries. Programming runs as a continuous schedule of long-form titles rather than short clips, with one item following another around the clock and material repeated across the week so that viewers in different time zones can catch the same titles.
The channel is distributed as a free live stream over the internet, with no subscription and no set-top box required: the signal plays in a browser and on phones, tablets, laptops and television sets. Watch Live whenever a film begins, or stream online at any hour of the day or night, follow the Canada live stream of Afghan cinema and music out of Toronto, keep the channel open as TV online through an evening, and Watch TV Online Free with no account.
