Adnkronos online television

Adnkronos is the television and video output of Adnkronos, the Italian news agency based in Rome and founded in 1963 from the merger of two press agencies, Kronos and AdN. It is the first privately owned news agency in Italy, part of the Giuseppe Marra Communications group, and it sums up its own work with the line news in its pure state. The agency opened an audiovisual division in 1987, and that division is the origin of the video service which now carries live coverage, recorded packages and studio interviews produced in the agency's own television studios in the capital.

The editorial range is that of a general news agency rather than a single-format channel: crime, economy, politics, foreign affairs, sport, entertainment, health and culture, with dedicated regional desks covering all twenty Italian regions plus Milan. Recurring video and audio strands include Salus TV on health, Musa TV on culture, Prometeo TV on sustainability, Adnkronos Italia Economia on business, the bulletins GR Audio and Prometeo News To Go, the magazine Rotocalco, Voci dal Parlamento from the chambers and Lavori in Corso on labour. The agency also runs foreign-language services in English, Russian, Japanese and Arabic through its international arm, alongside a press-release distribution desk.

Distribution is digital: the video output runs on the agency's own site and news channels, and the same material is licensed to Italian and foreign broadcasters, which is how an agency product reaches viewers directly. Watch Live whenever a press conference, a parliamentary event or a breaking story is being carried, or stream online from a browser, a phone or a connected television set. Follow the Italy live stream of agency journalism out of Rome, keep the feed open as TV online through a news day, and Watch TV Online Free with no subscription and no decoder.
