ADN 40 is a Mexico free-to-air news channel produced by TV Azteca, whose signal is made mainly for the XHTVM-TDT station in Mexico City, owned by Televisora del Valle de Mexico, and retransmitted as subchannel multiprogramming across the Republic. The name is an acronym of Azteca, Deportes and Noticias, and the channel now appears on air as adn Noticias. Its history runs back to 21 February 2006, when TV Azteca relaunched Canal 40 as Proyecto 40 with an information and debate format, and the signal took its present name on 13 March 2017. Since 29 November 2012 it has reached audiences beyond the Valley of Mexico through terrestrial subchannels in cities including Monterrey, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Puebla, Veracruz and Merida.

The output is continuous news: breaking coverage, live reports, debate panels and special coverage of presidential addresses, sessions of Congress, election nights and large demonstrations, alongside economics, security, health, science, sport and entertainment reporting. The channel belongs to the Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana and has links with the European news exchange ENEX, which widens its international feed. Regional editions carry reporting from states across the Republic, and the schedule mixes bulletins with presenter-led programmes, opinion strands and interview shows, plus a radio feed running the same journalism in audio.
