ACNN online television

ACNN is a Nigeria religious television channel, the televangelism arm of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), broadcasting from Abuja. The station describes its purpose as keeping the orthodox faith alive through inspiring and life-changing broadcast products, and its strapline promises inspiring hope, delivered truth and lives shaped through Christ-centered media. ACNN TV is a non-profit Christian television operation that promotes the orthodox Christian faith through informative and uplifting content rooted in biblical authority, upholding the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The schedule mixes worship and teaching with a broad magazine output. Alongside the devotional core sit strands for Bible Study, the Anglican Daily Fountain Devotional, which sets a topic and a scripture text for each day, Anglican-insights, Christian Media, Youth, Family and Wellness and Faith and Politics. The channel also carries current affairs coverage across news, education, health, sports, business and economy, foreign affairs, security and politics, plus an opinion strand, so the day runs from pastoral address to national debate without leaving the religious basis of the station.

Behind the channel stands a church structure rather than a commercial broadcaster, and the station states plainly that it is non-profit and depends on support and donations for its operations and staff, with an airtime and promotion service for churches and organizations that want to place content.
