DW Espanol is the Spanish-language television service of Deutsche Welle, the German international public broadcaster, aimed at Spanish-speaking viewers in Latin America and in Europe. The grid pairs news with longer interviews and youth programs. The newsroom works through politics, business, sport and culture instead of stopping at the headline.

The bulletin DW Noticias is the daily news face of the service. Among the presenters are Ana Plasencia, Rosa Casals and Javier Arguedas. The interview series Aqui estoy is led by Pia Castro, who talks with Spanish speakers building links between Europe and Latin America. A crew films the guests in places they choose, and the talks stay on migration, work, art, politics and personal routes rather than a studio briefing. The youth program Como te afecta is presented by Ernesto Andres Fuenmayor and Tamara Rivera Castro. They take current topics that concern teenagers and young adults in Latin America, bring in people who live with those problems, and add experts who talk about what could be done.
