Dushanbe HD live stream

Dushanbe HD online television

Dushanbe HD is the television service of the Tajik capital, a state institution founded in September 2006 as Capital Television and renamed Television of Dushanbe in March 2017. Its founding mandate is stated in plain terms: to give the capital a complete information space worthy of the political, economic, scientific and cultural centre of the country, to raise awareness among its residents and to cover the work of the city authorities openly.

The service has been produced in Full HD since February 2017 and reaches viewers well beyond the city limits: the signal goes out on satellite across a footprint that stretches from Central Asia to the Baltic states, the Caucasus and East Asia, while cable operators carry it throughout the country. The daily grid is led by the news desk, which works across politics, the economy, culture, society and sport and opens the day with a morning bulletin; feature programmes and documentaries about the capital and its people fill the hours between the bulletins.

The service publishes in three languages, Tajik, Russian and English, which reflects the mixed audience of the modern city. Watching needs no subscription: Watch Live in a browser on a computer, a tablet or a connected television.
