DSTV online television

DSTV is a Bulgarian music television channel founded by the pop-folk singer Desi Slava, who says she started her own station after other Bulgarian music channels refused to play her videos; she chose the name by analogy with DM SAT, the channel of the Serbian singer Dragana Mirkovic. The singer later sold the business to the Plovdiv entrepreneur Kostadin Haykov, and the channel now broadcasts in high definition.

The playlist covers most popular genres: Bulgarian and international pop, pop-folk, folklore, Bulgarian estrada, Balkan music, rap, hip-hop and rhythm and blues. The station holds agreements with the two Bulgarian collective rights organisations PROPHON and MUSICAUTOR, and it is carried on cable and by satellite. The daily grid runs in named blocks, from the early morning Budilnik and the dance pop of Tantsuvay s men through Gramofon for Bulgarian estrada, Debyut for new performers and the Balkan block Made in Balkanite, to Party time after midnight and the late-night Noshten miks.

Every evening the schedule turns to Nazdrave, the dedication show broadcast from a live piano bar on Dragan Tsankov boulevard in Sofia, where performers sing for the guests in the hall and for viewers at home and greetings go out on air by telephone or by short message; the channel does not broadcast round the clock. Online viewing is free and needs no registration, and this TV Online page carries the signal whenever it is on air. Watch Live DSTV in the evening, use this page to Watch TV Online Free from any browser, or stream online in Bulgarian from Sofia or from abroad; the Bulgaria Live Stream keeps the music on screen.
