Dr Phil's MeritTV online television

Dr Phil's MeritTV is an American entertainment and news network that streams free with advertising, founded by the television host and psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw. It is operated by Merit Street Media, a company based in Fort Worth, Texas, and it grew out of McGraw's long run in syndicated daytime television. The network presents itself as essential television, mixing discussion, true crime and talk programming.

McGraw announced Merit Street Media in November 2023 and took the channel to air on 2 April 2024, first under the name Merit Street and later as Merit TV; he said the name came from the idea of meritocracy and Main Street America. Its lineup features Dr. Phil Primetime, a continuation of his talk show, the daily The News on MeritTV, true crime programmes and reruns of the Dr. Phil series that ran for twenty-one seasons and more than three thousand episodes until 2023.

Before the network, McGraw, born on 1 September 1950 in Vinita, Oklahoma, held a doctorate in clinical psychology and became one of the most recognizable faces in American daytime television. The channel is carried as a free streaming feed with the picture served up to 1280 by 720 and English subtitles. Watch Live in a browser on a computer, a tablet or a connected television.
