Don't Tell The Bride is a British reality series built on one unforgiving premise. The couple are handed the budget for their own wedding, then kept apart for three weeks with no contact while the groom organises the venue, the catering, the dress, the cake and both the hen and stag parties. The bride learns nothing until she arrives: not the location, not the guest list, not even what she will wear. The show began on BBC Three on 8 November 2007, ran to 14 series and 164 episodes of about 60 minutes, produced by Renegade Pictures, part of Warner Bros. Television Productions UK.

The budget started at GBP 12,000 and rose to GBP 14,000 for the BBC One and E4 versions. Narration moved from Ruth Jones in the first series to Rebekah Staton from 2008 to 2020, with Zoe Ball voicing the 2015 run. The format shifted to BBC One in 2015 as BBC Three wound down its linear service, then to Sky 1 for the 2016 series and to E4 from 2017, where an 18-episode run was followed by a 30-episode final series that closed on 16 March 2020. Rose d'Or and BAFTA television nominations both came in 2012. Specials included a live Royal Wedding edition in April 2011 with Cherry Healey, Goes Global with Ellie Taylor and several Stacey Dooley clip shows. On 29 September 2023 Channel 4 confirmed there were no plans for a return, and reruns now sit on E4 Extra.

The idea travelled to around 120 territories, with local versions in Australia on Network 10, Denmark on TV 2, Germany on RTL II, Ireland on RTE, Poland on TLC Poland, Sweden on TV4 and the United States. It also runs as a free 24-hour channel from Little Dot Studios, carried in 1080p with English subtitles on Samsung TV Plus in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, plus Rakuten and Plex.
