Dog Whisperer online television

Dog Whisperer is the free linear channel built around Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, the American reality series that followed the dog trainer Cesar Millan and his work with problem dogs. The series ran for nine seasons and 176 episodes between 13 September 2004 and 15 September 2012, first on National Geographic and then on Nat Geo Wild, and by its seventh season it was broadcast in more than eighty countries. Production came from MPH Entertainment, Inc. and Dog Whisperer Productions, LLC. Watch Live the American feed and keep a steady United States Live Stream of the series.

Each episode opens with documentary style footage of a difficult dog and an interview with the owners, after which Millan arrives and works on the case. His advice turns on the owner becoming the dog's "pack leader", an idea drawn from the theory that dogs are pack animals, and Millan said repeatedly that the programme is not a training guide but a demonstration of his rehabilitation techniques.

Rights to the library passed formally to Dog Whisperer Productions in 2019, after international distribution by Rive Gauche Television ended with that company's bankruptcy filing in December 2022. A family spin off, Dog Whisperer: Family Edition, was announced by Litton Entertainment in June 2014 and ran for three seasons on The CW inside the One Magnificent Morning block from October 2014. Today the catalogue loops as a FAST channel carried on Pluto TV in the United States and Canada, on Samsung TV Plus, Plex, Roku, Xumo and DirecTV, so audiences can stream online on a phone, tablet, laptop or TV set, and the official video channel publishes whole episodes and compilations.
