Dog the Bounty Hunter online television

Dog the Bounty Hunter is an American reality television series that ran on A&E from 31 August 2004 to 23 June 2012 across eight seasons and 246 episodes, and it chronicled the work of Duane "Dog" Chapman, the bounty hunter and former bail bondsman, together with his family and his team. With a few exceptions the action took place in Hawaii or in Dog's home state of Colorado. A&E canceled the series on 21 May 2012, and the title now runs as a free advertising supported linear channel on the Pluto TV network. The format is plain: viewers travel along as Chapman and his team locate and arrest people who have broken the terms of their bail agreements, and the hunts and the arrests run into the drives to jail, where Chapman shows compassion and strongly counsels the fugitives to start over. The cast around him included Beth Chapman, his wife and co star, Leland Chapman, Duane Lee Chapman Jr. and Lyssa Chapman, with Tim "Youngblood" Chapman and Justin Bihag in the earlier seasons.

Two later series carried the same family forward, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt on CMT and Dog's Most Wanted, which ran on WGN America from 4 September to 6 November 2019. Today the channel loops the catalogue as a FAST feed, carried on Pluto TV in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and on Samsung TV Plus, Plex, Roku, Xumo, Rakuten and Tubi in up to 1920 by 1080, so audiences can stream online on a phone, tablet, laptop or TV set. The official site dogthebountyhunter.com covers the media work of Chapman, the BountyWear line and the Light Up the Darkness ministry he runs with his wife Francie.
