Diez TV Las Villas is the local channel of the Las Villas comarca in the province of Jaen, Andalusia, and it broadcasts from Villacarrillo, the administrative capital of the district. It is published by Grupo Audiovisual Andaluz, the television arm of Grupo Multimedia Jiennense, one of the largest communication groups of the province, with about forty professionals working in eight production centres. The comarca gathers Iznatoraf, Sorihuela del Guadalimar, Villanueva del Arzobispo and Villacarrillo, between the Guadalquivir and the Guadalimar rivers, and much of its territory lies inside the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas natural park.

The network started regular transmissions on 10 June 2010 in 16:9 widescreen from the historic centre of Ubeda, sharing studios with Radio Ubeda, and Las Villas joined later as the feed of the eastern comarcas, beside Andujar, Cazorla, Linares and Ubeda. Programming mixes provincial and local production: the newscast Noticias Diez TV, presented by Laura Martinez, airs Monday to Friday at 21:00 on every channel of the group, next to shared formats such as Tendido Diez, the bullfighting show of Jose Cisneros, Callejeando, the cinema strand Made in Jaen and Agricultura Diez TV. Reporters follow the olive harvest, the town councils, the schools and the brotherhoods, with live coverage of carnivals, Semana Santa and romerias.
