Desh TV online television

Desh TV, also written as Desh Television, is a Bengali-language news channel from Bangladesh that has been on air since 26 March 2009. Owned by the Karnaphuli Group and based in Dhaka, it runs a full newsroom with reporters in the capital and across the districts, and it broadcasts around the clock on a satellite feed that is streamed live at the same time. The channel covers national politics, the economy, parliament, elections, crime, law and justice, health, education, sport, weather and international affairs, with a dedicated desk for probash, the Bangladeshi community living and working abroad.

The schedule is built around hourly bulletins, with live reports and studio interviews breaking into programming when news happens, plus current affairs talk shows that bring together politicians, economists, analysts and ordinary citizens to debate the issues of the day. Alongside the news output Desh TV carries drama serials, music programmes, cultural and literary features and lifestyle content, so the channel mixes a news-first identity with entertainment for family audiences. Regional correspondents file from the districts, coverage of festivals, elections and national ceremonies goes out live, and weather and market updates run through the day.

Viewers can Watch Live from anywhere in the world, because the same 24-hour feed that goes out over satellite is available to stream online without a set-top box or a paid subscription, playing in a browser and on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs.
