Aastha Kannada online television

Aastha Kannada is the Kannada-language member of the Aastha family, the sister channel of one of India's pioneering spiritual broadcasters, carrying Hindu devotion and teaching to the people of Karnataka in their own beloved tongue. The state's devotional inheritance is rich, from the dasa sahitya, the songs of the Haridasa saints, to the great temple towns of the coast, and the channel speaks to exactly that tradition, at home and across the wide Kannada diaspora.

The schedule follows the day of devotion in Kannada: morning aarti and bhajans, discourses by the teachers the region follows, and the songs of the saint-poets woven through the hours. The festivals of the Kannada religious calendar bring special programming, and the teachings keep a practical edge, with guidance for family life, health and conduct beside the philosophy, in the clear everyday Kannada that households understand.

For Kannada families from Bengaluru and Mysuru to the diaspora in the Gulf and beyond, the channel is faith in the mother tongue, near and daily.
