Aastha Bhajan live stream

Aastha Bhajan online television

Aastha Bhajan is the devotional music channel of the Aastha family, the sister service of one of India's pioneering spiritual broadcasters, and its purpose is written in its name: bhajan, the devotional song. Around the clock, it carries the sung face of Hindu faith, from the temple classics every grandmother knows to the new voices of the kirtan stage, a continuous current of sacred music for the home, from early dawn to deep night.

The schedule flows with the day of devotion: morning bhajans and aarti to open the dawn, midday collections of the great traditions, from bhajan to qawwali-flavoured devotion and regional song, and evening sessions that accompany the household puja. During the festivals of the Hindu year the channel becomes a jukebox of the season, with special selections for Navratri, Janmashtami, Diwali and the fasts and feasts in between, while the teachings of the parent channel echo through in short spoken interludes.

For Hindu households in India and across the diaspora, the channel is the background of prayer and of daily work alike.
