Aaj News live stream

Aaj News online television

Aaj News is a Pakistani Urdu-language news channel broadcasting from Karachi, launched on 23 March 2005 by the Business Recorder Group, the publishing house behind one of the country's oldest financial dailies. It was among the early private news channels to open after Pakistan's broadcasting market was liberalised, and it remains the newsroom anchor of a family that also runs the entertainment channel Aaj Entertainment.

The grid runs around the clock: rolling bulletins through the day, field reporting from correspondents across the provinces, and evening talk programmes where the day's politics are argued out. Business coverage carries the parent group's signature, with market news and economic analysis given proper room beside the political headlines. Election nights, budgets and national events get the full rolling treatment, with the Karachi newsroom staying on air as long as the story demands.

For viewers in Pakistan and for the Urdu-speaking diaspora watching from the Gulf, Europe and North America, the channel is a dependable window on the country's day. Watching needs no subscription: Watch Live in a browser on a computer, a tablet or a connected television.
